Originally from India and now based in Dallas, Arun finds the funny in dating, family expectations, immigration, American culture, and the everyday absurdities most of us stopped noticing.<p dir="auto" data-start="390" data-end="756">Recently named one of <em data-start="412" data-end="462">D Magazine’s 10 Rising Dallas Comedians to Watch</em>, Arun has performed at the Dallas Comedy Festival, Plano Comedy Festival, and Tower City Comedy Festival, and made his television debut on CW33 in 2026. His relaxed, understated delivery has a way of drawing you into his point of view, right before landing the punchline you didn’t see coming.</p> <p dir="auto" data-start="758" data-end="917">On October 17, Arun takes over The Comedy Arena for <strong data-start="810" data-end="835">In the Room with Rama. </strong><span data-start="810" data-end="835">It's a</span>n intimate late-night stand-up show featuring one of DFW comedy’s rising voices.</p> <strong data-start="919" data-end="939" data-is-last-node="">Get in the room</strong>.<div><br></div><div><br></div><div><div>THE COMEDY ARENA'S Main Stage is located on the second floor, on the northwest corner of Hwy 5 and Virginia St. The main entrance is on the first floor, on Virginia St. There is an elevator at the rear of the building as well as a staircase both inside and outside of the building.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>ENTERING &amp; SEATING</div><div>The House typically opens 30 minutes before showtime. Seats are only guaranteed until showtime. Ticket price may be more expensive at the door (if any remain).</div><div><br></div><div>All seating is based on size of party and when guests arrive at the show. We have cabaret style seating, so small tables with chairs around them. Most of our tables seat 4 people. If your group is smaller you may be sitting with another group, if it is larger you will have multiple tables next to each other. To ensure a whole table to your group, you need to buy 4 tickets.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>ALL SALES ARE FINAL</div><div><br></div><div>No refunds or exchanges offered after the show. Please make sure you purchase tickets for the correct date and time. You may be able to have your tickets moved to a future event if you notify the box office 24 hours before the start of the show to which you have tickets.</div><div><br></div><div>There is a 2 Item (Food or Beverage) Minimum Per Person. This means each person must purchase 2 items off the menu. This can be an alcoholic, or non-alcoholic drink, or any of our food items.
