Gianmarco Soresi

Stand Up Comedian

Gianmarco Soresi is a NYC stand-up comedian, actor and writer, but the first line of his obituary will probably say: “Guy from all those General Electric commercials.”  His stand-up has been featured on Netflix's Bonding, PBS's Stories from the Stage, Real Housewives of New York (really), and he was the winner of Amazon's Comics Watching Comics Season 8. His first comedy special "Shelf Life", directed by Emmy award winner Andy Buck, is now available on Amazon Prime and was cited by NPR as a 2020 Comedy Special Recommendation. He also has a dedicated following on TikTok, where he has accumulated 106,000 followers and nearly 8 million likes.

As an actor, Gianmarco has appeared opposite Jennifer Lopez in the movie Hustlers, Billy Crystal in Here Today, TBS's The Last OG with Tracy Morgan, CBS's Blue Bloods, ABC's Deception, Comedy Central, TruTV, MTV and more. He is also the former spokesman for General Electric and Baby Bottle Pop, two equally important companies.

Gianmarco's sketches, web series, tweets, and stand-up have garnered attention from Esquire, The Atlantic, The AV Club, Buzzfeed, ABC News, The Huffington Post, The Daily Dot, Perez Hilton, Laughspin, Splitsider, Tubefilter, Fast Company, and more. After creating his own sketch series, Matza Pizza, with all the General Electric money he made, Funny or Die produced one of his pieces as an FOD Original.
